Origin

Characteristics
The Maranta leuconeura mix is a herbaceous plant with striking, variegated, and spotted leaves. The leaves are oval-shaped and often display pronounced veins and colourful patterns in shades of green, red, white, or yellow. The underside of the leaf often has a purple hue. The leaves can fold upwards in the evening, a movement known as nyctinasty.

Care
The Maranta leuconeura mix thrives best at a constant temperature and high humidity. It is a shade-loving plant that does not tolerate direct sunlight. Regular watering is necessary to keep the potting soil slightly moist. The plant does well in light and humus-rich potting soil.
