Origin
The Aglaonema 'Lemon Mint', also known as the Chinese Evergreen, originated in the tropical and subtropical regions of Asia. This species can be found particularly in the humid, shaded forests of Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Characteristics
This evergreen plant is recognizable by its large, shiny leaves with a striking lemon yellow colour combined with light green. The Aglaonema 'Lemon Mint' can reach a height of 30 to 50 cm. The leaves stand rigidly upright and have a length of about 20 cm. The plant rarely blooms and when it does, the flowers are small and white.
Care

The plant prefers indirect sunlight and can have problems when exposed to direct sunlight. An ideal temperature for the 'Lemon Mint' lies between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius. Regarding watering, it is important to keep the soil moist but to avoid overwatering. Watering once a week is often sufficient. Water less in the winter months, but make sure the soil never completely dries out. It is also advisable to regularly mist the plant with water in order to maintain high humidity levels.
