Tuft
4AGCOBP12
Origin
The Aglaonema 'White Kiwi' has its roots in the warm, tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia. This species, part of the Araceae family, is predominantly found in countries such as Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand. It is naturally a shade-loving plant.
Characteristics
The Aglaonema 'White Kiwi' is notable for its fresh, glossy leaves with a striking colour combination of green and cream white. The plant typically reaches a height between 60 and 120 centimetres. It has oval, pointed leaves that grow on long stems and can bloom with small, inconspicuous flowers.
Care
The Aglaonema 'White Kiwi' is an easy-to-maintain plant, but requires a certain degree of attention. The plant prefers a location with indirect sunlight, but due to its origin it can also grow well in the shade. Regular watering is important for this plant, with a preference for the soil to dry out slightly between watering to prevent root rot. The plant needs a constant temperature and is sensitive to dry air, therefore it is recommended to occasionally moisten the plant during the heating period.
