Origin
The Alocasia 'Antoro Velvet' belongs to the Araceae family and is originally from the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia. This exotic plant species is also known by the name 'Elephant Ear' due to the characteristic shape of its leaves.
Characteristics
The Alocasia 'Antoro Velvet' is distinguished by its large, heart-shaped leaves that feel velvety to the touch. This plant has also an outstanding green colour with dark veins, making it a striking presence in any room. The plant can grow up to a height of around one metre, which adds to its striking appearance.
Care

The Alocasia needs a lot of water, but doesn't like to be standing in water, thus a well-drained planter is recommended.
