Origin
The Aloe red safari, also known as Candelabra Aloe, originates from the south and east of Africa. Intense cultivation, however, has spread the plant worldwide, where it thrives in warm, dry climates similar to its birthplace.

Characteristics
The Aloe red safari is a striking ornamental plant, characterised by its sturdy, succulent leaves which take on a red hue in sunlight. These leaves are often wavy and studded with spikes, giving them a distinctive appearance. In the early spring, the Aloe red safari produces bright orange to reddish flowers, which stand upright on tall stems, adding further appeal to the plant.

Care
Aloe red safari requires relatively little care, but there are some important aspects to consider for healthy growth. The plant thrives in sunny spots and requires well-drained soil to prevent root rot. The soil must dry out completely between watering, as the plant is very drought-tolerant. In cold climates, it is necessary to bring the plant indoors during winter, as it is not frost-resistant.
