Product number : 4EUERKK40
DescriptionSpecifications

Origin
The Euphorbia erytrea is a plant species native to northeastern Africa, particularly Eritrea and the surrounding areas. This plant naturally grows in dry, rocky landscapes and savannahs. In these regions, the climate is warm and dry with limited rainfall. The species belongs to the genus Euphorbia, which is represented worldwide by thousands of species.

Characteristics
Euphorbia erytrea is a succulent plant with an upright growth habit and can reach several metres in height. The plant features clearly visible, straight ribs along the trunk bearing small spines. The trunk and branches have a blue-green colour and a slightly waxy appearance. The foliage is usually small or absent, minimising water loss. Beneath the bark is a white, milky sap.

Care
Euphorbia erytrea requires a location with plenty of light. The plant tolerates dry conditions well and needs little water. It is important that the soil is well-draining to prevent root rot. A moderate to warm temperature is suitable for healthy growth. Fertilisation is only necessary to a limited extent during the growing season.
