Origin
The Euphorbia trigona 'Rubra' originates from West Africa. This plant species is derived from the Euphorbiaceae family, known for its diversity. The nickname of this striking plant, often referring to its birthplace as well as the milky white sap the trunk produces, is not translated.

Characteristics

The 'Rubra' variety of this species differs from the ordinary Euphorbia trigona by the deep red colour of the leaves.

Although the plant is a drought-resistant type, it is recommended to water it regularly, but to allow the soil to dry out completely between watering.
