Origin
Originally, the Haworthia Gasworthia comes from South Africa. The Haworthia genus, under which the Gasworthia falls, consists of more than 150 different species. All species are endemic to the southern part of the continent, meaning that they do not occur anywhere else in the world in the wild.

Characteristics
The Haworthia Gasworthia is a small, compact succulent with a rosette growth habit. The plant has thick, fleshy leaves that can be dark green to almost black in colour, depending on the amount of sunlight they receive. This succulent has beautiful stripes on the leaves. The leaves sometimes have translucent windows at the edges, an adaptation that enables the plant to survive in low-light conditions.

Care
Caring for the Haworthia Gasworthia is relatively simple, which makes them popular as houseplants. The plant needs plenty of light, but direct sunlight can burn the leaves. It is advisable to water the plant less during the winter period than in the summer. In general, Haworthias are more tolerant than other succulents when it comes to watering and indoor temperatures, due to their natural adaptation to harsh conditions.
