Origin
Dracaena surculosa is a plant species native to West and Central Africa. It typically grows in tropical rainforests, where humidity levels are high. Dracaena surculosa thrives in shady environments beneath the canopy of larger trees. In nature, this plant is often found in moist, humus-rich soils.

Characteristics
Dracaena surculosa is known for its oval, dark green leaves with distinctive yellow to light green spots. The plant can develop a shrub-like form and usually reaches a height of 60 to 90 centimetres. The leaves are glossy and firm, with a leathery texture. Under favourable conditions, the plant may produce small, fragrant flowers, followed by red berries. Dracaena surculosa is sometimes referred to as 'Gold Dust Dracaena'.

Care
Dracaena surculosa requires consistently moderate to high humidity. The plant prefers a bright spot out of direct sunlight. The soil should be kept lightly moist, without remaining constantly wet. Temperatures between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius are well tolerated. Regularly keeping the leaves dust-free helps maintain their healthy appearance.
