Origin
The Aglaonema 'Amazon silver', also known as Chinese Evergreen, has its origin in the tropical and subtropical areas of Asia. It belongs to the Araceae family. Its natural habitats are the moist, shady forests of Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

Characteristics
The Aglaonema 'Amazon silver' is characterised by its attractive leaf pattern. The leaves are wide and oval with a shiny surface, predominantly silver-grey in colour with darker green edges. The plant can reach up to 1 meter in height when grown indoors. Another characteristic is its slow growth, which makes it very low maintenance.

Care
The Aglaonema ‘Amazon silver' requires little light, but does well in indirect, bright light. Direct sunlight should be avoided as it can burn the leaves. The plant prefers a humid environment and it is advisable to lightly moisten the soil regularly. Although the plant has some tolerance for colder temperatures, a stable room temperature of 18-24°C is recommended for the most optimal growth conditions.
