Origin
The Aglaonema 'Silver Frost', also known as the Chinese Evergreen, originates from the tropical rainforests of Asia and in particular, Southeast Asia. The plant predominantly grows in the shady undergrowth of the dense forest, where the air is moist and the soil is rich in organic material.

Characteristics
The Aglaonema 'Silver Frost' is a perennial, evergreen plant. Its leaves are elongated and pointed, drawing attention with their silver pattern against a dark green background. The plant can reach a height of approximately 60 to 90 cm. The flowering is quite inconspicuous with small white flowers that are mostly hidden amongst the leaves.

Care
The Aglaonema 'Silver Frost' requires indirect sunlight and thrives best in temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. The plant has a moderate need for water, the soil should be slightly moist, but not soaked. It is recommended to feed the plant with some fertilizer every two weeks during the growing season. As the Aglaonema 'Silver Frost' is a tropical plant, it cannot survive at temperatures below 12 degrees Celsius.
