The 'Sierra White' is a popular variant of the Anthurium andraeanum with striking white flowers. This plant is characterised by its heart-shaped, glossy, dark green leaves and its striking white bracts that curl around the spadix, or flower spike. The large, eye-catching flowers beautifully contrast with the dark green leaves and give the plant an exotic appearance. Blooming usually occurs in the summer months but can continue throughout the year under favourable conditions.

The Anthurium andraeanum 'Sierra White' requires a warm and humid climate, therefore indoor cultivation with the right care is the best option. This plant prefers a spot with abundant indirect sunlight and a temperature of 18 to 22 degrees Celsius. Overwatering should be avoided as this can cause root rot. To encourage blooming, you can apply a liquid houseplant fertilizer once a month in the spring and summer.
