Origin
The Dracaena fragrans 'Golden dragon', also known as the golden dragon tree, has its origin in Africa. This evergreen plant is found mainly in the tropical part of the continent, where it forms part of the natural vegetation in the wild.

Characteristics
The characteristic aspects of the 'Golden dragon' are the gold-yellow stripes running over the green leaves, which give the plant its unique name.
