Monstera obliqua, also known as the "Swiss Cheese Vine", is a tropical plant species. This plant originated from the rainforests of South America, primarily in Brazil, Peru, and Bolivia.

Characteristics
Monstera obliqua is characterised by its remarkable leaves with unique hole patterns and elongated forms. This plant is usually kept as a climbing or hanging plant due to its air roots. The shiny dark green leaves can grow up to 9 cm long and the plant can reach a total length of about 3 meters.

Care
Monstera obliqua needs a warm and humid environment to thrive, similar to the climatic conditions of its area of origin. It needs indirect light since too much direct sunlight can burn the leaves. Regular watering is also essential, but an excess of water can lead to root rot. This plant thrives best at a temperature between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius.
