Origin
The Philodendron selloum 'Narrow', better known as the Lacy tree philodendron, has its roots in South America. This lush, tropical plant originally hails from Brazil, but can nowadays be found in many parts of the world.

Characteristics
This eye-catching plant is characterised by its deep green, glossy leaves which are long and narrow, and can grow up to a meter in length. The leaves are especially striking due to their deeply cut and wavy edges, giving the plant an exotic look. In addition, the plant produces insignificant, cream-white flowers annually.

Care
There are a number of important factors to consider when caring for the Philodendron selloum 'Narrow'. The plant prefers bright, indirect light and needs to be watered regularly, but the roots should not be left sitting in water. The plant also needs to be protected from frost, as it is not frost-resistant. Regular feeding with a balanced fertiliser keeps the Philodendron selloum 'Narrow' healthy and beautiful.
