Philodendron scandens
Hanger

Origin
The Scindapsus (Epipremnum) 'Glacier' is a climbing plant from the Epipremnum genus, part of the Araceae family. Originally, the plant comes from Southeast Asia and Oceania, particularly from the rainforests of Borneo, the Philippines and the Solomon Islands.
Characteristics
The Scindapsus 'Glacier' is characterised by its heart-shaped, strikingly marbled leaves with a combination of green, white and silverish hues. The leaves are waxy in texture and can grow up to 10 cm long. The plant grows on the ground as ground cover, but can also climb upwards if it has the opportunity to latch onto something.
Care
A Scindapsus 'Glacier' requires a location with indirect sunlight, as direct sunlight can fade the leaves. The plant needs little water: only when the top layer of the soil feels dry should water be given again. In addition, the Scindapsus 'Glacier' requires high humidity. However, it is resilient to various climatic conditions and can therefore be kept both indoors and outdoors.
