DescriptionSpecifications

Origin
The Scindapsus pictus 'Trebie' is an indoor plant that originally hails from Southeast Asia. This plant species often grows there as an epiphyte in the rainforest, where it clings to trees. The Scindapsus pictus 'Trebie' is a variety of the Scindapsus pictus, also known as the silk Pothos.

Characteristics
The Scindapsus pictus 'Trebie' stands out for its heart-shaped leaves, which have a silvery sheen and are decorated with a characteristic pattern of dark green spots. The plant has a climbing growth habit, with a tendency to grow lengthways and can therefore take on drapery-like shapes. The total height can vary from 60 cm to 1.2 m, depending on the care and conditions.

Care
A Scindapsus pictus 'Trebie' needs a light spot, but should not be placed in direct sunlight as this can burn the leaves. It's important to let the soil dry out between watering, to prevent root rot. Moreover, the humidity in the room ideally needs to be between 40% and 60%. The plant also requires temperatures between 18 and 24 degree Celsius. If the plant grows too quickly in height, it can always be pruned back. The pruning waste can then be reused for propagation.
