Asplenium dimorphum 'Parvati'
1ASPABP05
Origin
The Syngonium 'Arrow' is a plant from the Araceae family and originally hails from Central and South America. In the wild, the plant grows in tropical rainforests, where it climbs up trees and other plants. In this natural habitat, the plant can reach several meters in height.
Characteristics
The Syngonium 'Arrow' is recognisable by its distinctive leaf shape, reminiscent of the tips of an arrow. The leaves are usually a soft green colour with cream or white veins. The plant can change shape over time; young plants have arrow-shaped leaves, while older plants get dissected leaves. The plant grows slowly and usually reaches an indoor height of approximately one meter.
Care
The Syngonium 'Arrow' requires a location with indirect light and thrives at a temperature of 18 to 27 degrees Celsius. It's crucial to let the potting soil dry out slightly in between watering sessions; too much water can cause rot. To promote the growth and health of the plant, it's advisable to fertilise it monthly during the growing season with a general indoor plant fertiliser. The plant does not tolerate cold or drafts, so it's advisable to choose a suitable location with care.
