Origin

This plant can be recognised by its broad and flat leaves that have a striking blue-grey colour. The leaves are often coated with a layer of white wax, hence the nickname 'White Ice'. Care
A warm and sunny climate is ideal for the care of the Agave titanota 'White Ice', although the plant can also withstand slightly cooler temperatures. It requires well-draining soil to prevent root rot. In addition, the plant needs little water, as it can store this itself in its leaves and stem. Regular fertilisation is also not necessary, as the plant obtains sufficient nutrients from the soil. Pruning is generally not necessary either, unless one wishes to remove dead or damaged leaves.
