Origin
Anthurium ellipticum ‘Jungle bush’ originates from the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. This plant naturally grows beneath the forest canopy in humid, warm environments. It belongs to the Araceae family. The species mainly grows as an epiphyte or on humus-rich forest soil.

Characteristics
This plant features strikingly large, elliptical leaves with a glossy, dark green surface. The leaf surface is firm and leathery in texture. The leaf stems are short and thick, contributing to a compact growth habit. Anthurium ellipticum ‘Jungle bush’ can reach a height of 50 to 60 centimetres. The plant occasionally produces typical spadix-shaped inflorescences, characteristic of the Anthurium genus.

Care
Anthurium ellipticum ‘Jungle bush’ requires consistently high humidity. The preferred temperature is between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius. Indirect light encourages healthy growth. The soil should be lightly moist, well-draining, and rich in humus. Regular misting helps to maintain the foliage.
