Origin
The Cordyline Mix, also known as the Kiwi Plant, has its origins in Australia, New Zealand, and some parts of Southeast Asia. This species of plant is mainly found in tropical and subtropical environments. Over the years, the Cordyline Mix has spread to numerous countries as an ornamental plant, thanks to its vibrant colours and aesthetic appeal.
Characteristics
The Cordyline Mix is distinguished by its elongated leaves, displaying in various colours such as green, red, orange, and purple. These colourful leaves are characterised by their thick, leathery structures, and can grow up to 1 meter in length. The plant usually grows in a bush-like shape or as a small tree, and can reach a maximum height of 3 meters. Moreover, the Cordyline Mix also produces flowers, which are usually white or light pink in colour.
Care
The Cordyline Mix prefers a sunny or semi-shaded position and well-drained soil. Watering should be moderate, as the plant does not tolerate wet roots well. During the growing period, which runs from spring to autumn, the plant should be fertilized weekly for optimal growth and health. Lastly, the Cordyline Mix is resistant to low temperatures, but frost should be avoided as much as possible.
