Origin
Rosa 'Apache Kordana' is a rose variety originating from the international breeding programme of Kordes Rosen in Germany. The cultivar is part of the Kordana series, which was developed for its compact growth and ornamental value as a pot plant. This series has been available on the market since the second half of the twentieth century. The plant is only available through vegetative propagation.
Characteristics
Rosa 'Apache Kordana' is a compact, low-growing pot rose with a dense and bushy growth habit. The flowers are bright red in colour and of medium size, with a classic rose shape. The leaves are dark green, glossy, and leathery. The flowering period is generally long, and the plant produces many flowers simultaneously.
Care
Rosa 'Apache Kordana' grows best in a bright location with sufficient indirect sunlight. Regular watering is necessary to keep the root ball slightly moist. A well-draining substrate is recommended to prevent root rot. During the growing season, a balanced fertiliser can support healthy development.
