Origin
The Chlorophytum Comosum 'Green Bonnie', also known as the Spider Plant, finds its origin in South Africa. It has become a popular houseplant due to its ability to grow in various domestic conditions. Additionally, the plant is appreciated for its decorative and air-purifying properties.

Characteristics
The 'Green Bonnie' produces long, thin leaves that grow in a tasteful arc from the heart of the plant. These leaves are intensely bright green in colour, without the white stripe in the centre that is typical of many other Chlorophytum Comosum varieties. The plant produces small white flowers and forms stolons, which develop into young plants at the tip.

Care
Caring for the 'Green Bonnie' is relatively straightforward. The plant thrives in moderate light and cannot tolerate direct sunlight. It is essential to allow the soil to dry out slightly between watering to prevent root rot. During its growth in spring and summer, weekly watering is sufficient. In winter, this can be reduced to once every two weeks. The plant can be fertilised three to four times a year with a standard houseplant fertiliser.
