Anthurium andraeanum 'Sierra'4/tray
Bush Red

Origin
The Chamaedorea elegans, also known as the Mexican dwarf palm, originates from Mexico and Guatemala. Here the plant grows in the moist, shadowy understory of tropical rainforests. The species has existed since the Victorian era and was discovered by Europeans during their explorations in Central America.
Characteristics
The Chamaedorea elegans is a small, slow-growing palm. The plant has dark green, feathery leaves that grow from a slim trunk. It produces small yellow flowers on hanging branches when mature. Typically, the plant reaches a height of about 60-100 cm, but rarely more than 120 cm. The Chamaedorea elegans is suitable for growing in a container, making it a popular choice for interior design.
Care
The Chamaedorea elegans requires minimal care and can survive under various light conditions, but prefers indirect sunlight. The soil should be well-draining and should be kept moist without becoming waterlogged. The Chamaedorea elegans has a preference for high humidity and should be regularly sprayed with water in dry climatological conditions. It is also resistant to lower temperatures, but grows best at temperatures between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius.
