Origin
The Philodendron 'Billietiae' 6/tray is a unique species in the Araceae family. This species originates from the rainforests of Central and South America. The name 'Billietiae' is a tribute to the Belgian plant collector Francine Billiet.

Characteristics
The Philodendron 'Billietiae' is distinguished by its unique foliage. The plant has long, narrow leaves with characteristic wave patterns, with colours ranging from light green to dark green. The stems of this plant are exceptionally thick and have a reddish-brown colour, providing a beautiful contrast to the green leaves. Given ideal conditions, the plant can grow up to 3 meters high.

Care
In terms of care, the Philodendron 'Billietiae' requires a certain level of attention. The plant prefers a semi-shade location without direct sunlight. Watering should be done sparingly, so that the soil can dry out between waterings. It is recommended to mist the leaves to imitate a higher humidity level. It is also important to feed the plant with a general fertiliser during the growing season.
