Origin
The Philodendron 'Neon' belongs to the genus Philodendron, which originates from the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. In its native habitat, this plant mainly grows beneath the closed canopy of the forest. The variety is a popular cultivated form of Philodendron hederaceum. In nature, the plant develops as a climber along trees and other vegetation.

Characteristics
Philodendron 'Neon' stands out due to its bright yellow to vivid lime green leaves. The leaves are heart-shaped with a glossy surface. This plant has a compact growth habit but can also be kept as a hanging plant or a climber. The leaf stems are thin and flexible, making the plant suitable for vertical growth. The intensity of the leaf colour is most pronounced with sufficient light.

Care
Philodendron 'Neon' grows best at a constant temperature between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius. The plant does not tolerate direct sunlight but thrives in bright, indirect light. A slightly moist potting soil and good drainage are important to prevent root rot. Regular misting encourages high humidity, which benefits the plant. Growth occurs throughout the year, especially in warm and humid conditions.
