Origin
The Saxifraga Arendsii Grp 'Peter Pan', also known as the 'Peter Pan' Saxifraga, is a cultivated variety of the Saxifraga Arendsii, originating from the European mountains. The plant is named after its breeder, the German Ernst Pagels, and the name Peter Pan refers to the fairy-tale quality of the plant.

Characteristics
The Saxifraga Arendsii Grp 'Peter Pan' is a compact, hardy perennial plant. The plant is characterised by its cushion-like appearance with small, green leaves, and bears pink flowers with five petals and yellow centres from the spring to the summer. The 'Peter Pan' generally does not grow higher than 15 centimetres and has a width of about 30 centimetres.

Care
The Saxifraga Arendsii Grp 'Peter Pan' requires well-draining, moist soil of light to medium quality, preferably with a neutral to slightly acidic pH. The plant prefers a full to partially sunny location. It is advisable to lightly prune the plant annually after flowering to promote compact growth. It is also important to know that this plant does not tolerate drought well, so regular watering is desirable.
