Origin
Thymus x citriodorus mix is a hybrid plant species resulting from crosses between different thyme species. The plant belongs to the Lamiaceae family. The original species are native to Southern Europe and the Mediterranean region.

Characteristics
Thymus x citriodorus mix is a low-growing, compact semi-shrub with a dense growth habit. The leaves are small, oval, and release a pronounced lemon scent when touched. Leaf colour ranges from green to variegated, depending on the mixture of cultivars. In summer, the plant produces small, pale pink to purple flowers.

Care
Thymus x citriodorus mix prefers a sunny position. The plant grows best in well-draining, dry to moderately moist soil. Regular pruning encourages compact growth. The plant is hardy and suitable for both borders and rock gardens.
