Origin
The Mandevilla, also known as Dipladenia, has its origin in Central and South America. The plant is named after Henry Mandeville, a British diplomat and garden enthusiast. It is a commonly used ornamental plant in warmer climates thanks to its colourful and long-flowering blooms.

Characteristics
The Mandevilla 2 Colours Pink/Red is a climbing plant with glossy, leathery leaves. The plant produces striking, trumpet-shaped flowers in various pink and red hues throughout the growing season. This flowering vine can reach up to 10 feet (approximately 3 meters) in length, depending on the conditions. Due to the vibrant colours and attractive fragrance, the plant also attracts flying insects and birds.

Care
For the care of the Mandevilla, a sunny and sheltered position is ideal as this plant is resistant to heat but not to cold. The soil needs to be well-drained and the plant requires regular watering, particularly during dry periods. The Mandevilla also needs a support to grow against since it is a climbing plant.
