Origin
The Sundaville (Dipladenia) Classic mix is a tropical plant native to South America. Originally, this plant mainly grows in the jungles of Brazil, but nowadays it is popular worldwide as a houseplant or as a ground cover in tropical gardens.

Characteristics
The Sundaville is distinguished by its glossy, dark green leaves and striking, trumpet-shaped flowers. The plant can bloom in a mix of colours, including red, pink, white and yellow, giving the plant its 'Classic mix' name. The plant has a bushy, climbing growth form and can reach a height of 2 to 3 meters.

Care
The Sundaville requires a place in the sun or partial shade, and well-draining, nutritious soil. The plant likes light watering, but let the soil dry out well between watering. During the growth and flowering period, the roots are sensitive to too much water, so make sure the plant is not standing in water. The plant has relatively low fertiliser needs, a monthly addition of fertiliser during the growing season is sufficient. Pruning the Sundaville promotes growth and shapes the plant. It is a hardy plant, but in colder climates, it is recommended to bring this plant indoors during the winter.
