Origin
The Hebe Purple Pixie® is a cultivated variety within the Hebe genus. This species originates from New Zealand, where many Hebe species are native plants. Purple Pixie® was developed through selective breeding focused on foliage colour and compact growth. The plant is mainly grown for ornamental purposes in Europe and other temperate climate zones.

Characteristics
Hebe Purple Pixie® is a low, compact shrub with a maximum height of approximately 40 centimetres. Its leaves are small, glossy green, turning deep purple, especially during the winter months. The plant flowers in summer, producing small, purple to lavender-coloured blooms in short spikes. This cultivar remains evergreen throughout the year and is tolerant of mild frost.

Care
Hebe Purple Pixie® performs best in well-draining soil with a neutral to slightly acidic pH. The plant tolerates full sun, but can also thrive in partial shade. Regular watering is recommended, especially during dry periods. Prune immediately after flowering to maintain a compact shape. Feeding in spring will support healthy growth.
