Astelia nervosa 'Silver Shadow' originates from New Zealand, where it naturally grows in alpine areas and forests. The species belongs to the Asteliaceae family. The 'Silver Shadow' cultivar was selected for its striking leaf colour and ornamental value.

Characteristics
Astelia nervosa 'Silver Shadow' is an evergreen perennial with a compact, upright growth habit. Its narrow, sword-shaped leaves have a silvery-grey to metallic sheen. The leaf edges are often slightly serrated and the leaf surface feels firm. The plant usually reaches a height of 60 to 80 cm and forms dense clumps. Care
