Origin
Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Golden Sprinklers' is a selected cultivar of the Lawson cypress, originally found in the western regions of North America. This variety has been chosen for its distinctive foliage colour and compact growth habit. Since the late twentieth century, the cultivar has been propagated in European nurseries. The species belongs to the Cupressaceae family.

Characteristics
Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Golden Sprinklers' is a slow-growing conifer with a compact, broadly conical growth form. Its most striking feature is the needles, which display a vivid yellow to golden-yellow colour, especially at the tips of the branches. A mature specimen typically reaches a height of around 150 to 200 centimetres. The plant retains its colour throughout the year, making it evergreen.
