This variety was introduced by the plant breeder Elizabeth MacGregor in the United Kingdom.
Characteristics
Anemone 'Elfin Swan' has a compact, bushy growth habit and reaches a height of approximately 30 to 40 centimetres. The flowers are white with a pale blue-purple reverse and have a yellow centre. Flowering occurs from summer into autumn. The foliage is dark green, deeply divided, and forms a dense canopy.
Care
Anemone 'Elfin Swan' grows best in humus-rich, well-drained soil. The plant thrives in positions ranging from partial shade to full sun. Regular watering is recommended, especially during dry spells. Protection from strong winds will help prevent damage to the foliage and flowers.
