Origin
Anemone 'Elfin Swan' is a cultivar within the genus Anemone and belongs to the Ranunculaceae family. 'Elfin Swan' was developed through breeding programmes aimed at enhancing ornamental value and promoting compact growth. This variety was introduced by the plant breeder Elizabeth MacGregor in the United Kingdom.

Characteristics
Anemone 'Elfin Swan' has a compact, bushy growth habit and reaches a height of approximately 30 to 40 centimetres. The flowers are white with a pale blue-purple reverse and have a yellow centre. Flowering occurs from summer into autumn. The foliage is dark green, deeply divided, and forms a dense canopy.
