Origin
The Aglaonema 'Ivory Jade' 6/tray, also known as the Chinese evergreen, has its roots in the humid, shadowy forests of Southeast Asia. Originally, the plant grew in countries such as Malaysia, the Philippines, and Southern China.

Characteristics
The Aglaonema 'Ivory Jade' is known for its deep green, glossy leaves with a striking cream or ivory-coloured pattern. These leaves grow out of an upright stem and can become up to 30 centimetres long. The plant itself grows to a height of 70 to 120 centimetres. The 'Ivory Jade' belongs to the Araceae family and is a slow-growing, evergreen indoor plant.

Care
The Aglaonema 'Ivory Jade' is an easy-to-maintain plant that prefers indirect light. Bright, indirect light and high humidity is ideal, but as it is a low light tolerant plant, it can thrive in darker areas too. Although the plant needs little water, it is recommended to keep the soil evenly moist for optimal growth. Reducing watering in the winter, and feeding the plant with plant food in the spring and summer, will help to promote the growth and flowering of the 'Ivory Jade'. Cleaning the leaves, by carefully removing dust and dirt, also helps to keep the plant healthy.
