Origin
The Aglaonema 'Night Sparkle' has its origin in the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia. Countries such as Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia are known as the natural growth areas for this unique plant species. In these humid and warm environments, the plant has evolved into a strong, adaptive species.
Characteristics
The Aglaonema 'Night Sparkle' is an elegant, striking houseplant with glossy, deep green leaves and silvery, almost twinkling spots. The trunks of this plant are typically between 12 and 15 cm high. The leaves of the Aglaonema 'Night Sparkle' are not only striking for their colour, but also for their pointed shape. They can grow up to 20 to 35 centimetres long.
Care
In terms of care, the Aglaonema 'Night Sparkle' doesn't need much to flourish. The plant prefers a place with indirect light and without direct sunlight. The ideal temperature for this plant is between 16 and 24 degrees Celsius. Too much water is not beneficial, a slightly moist soil is most ideal. It is also advisable not to move the plant too much, as Aglaonemas are sensitive to changes in their environment.
