Origin
The Aglaonema 'Chartreuse Pretty' belongs to the Araceae family and finds its origin in the humid tropical forests of Asia, particularly in the south of China and the Philippines. Their natural habitat is in the lower parts of the forest where they are somewhat shaded and enjoy high humidity.

Characteristics
The Aglaonema 'Chartreuse Pretty', also known as the Chinese Evergreen, is a striking houseplant with large, glossy leaves. The leaves are usually bright green in colour with golden, silver or cream patterns, which gives this plant species a unique appearance. The plant can also produce flowers, but these are generally small and inconspicuous. The Aglaonema 'Chartreuse Pretty' can grow up to 1 to 1.5 meters high in the living room if conditions are optimal.

Care
The Aglaonema 'Chartreuse Pretty' thrives best in an environment with moderate to indirect light, but can also survive in low light conditions. Although the plant appreciates high humidity, excess water should be avoided to prevent root rot. The plant should be watered when the top half of the soil is dry and is ideally kept at temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius.
