Origin
The Asplenium nidus 6/tray, originally hails from the tropical areas of East Asia, Australia and Hawaii. This evergreen fern variety predominantly grows in moist, shady areas, such as the undergrowth of rainforests or along riverbanks. Due to human intervention, the species has also been able to establish itself elsewhere, including in Florida and other subtropical areas.

Characteristics
The Asplenium nidus distinguishes itself by its bright green, shiny leaves that grow in a nest shape. These leaves can reach a length of up to 1 meter at maturity. The leaves are elongated and have a serrated edge. A particular characteristic of this fern is its spore-bearing structure on the underside of the leaf, making it a fascinating plant for plant enthusiasts.

Care
Caring for the Asplenium nidus requires some attention to ensure that the plant thrives well. Firstly, the plant requires a high humidity level, which can be achieved by regularly spraying the plant with water. In addition, the plant thrives best in indirect sunlight; too much direct sunlight can burn the leaves.
