Origin
The Croton 'Mrs. Iceton' – scientific name Codiaeum variegatum 'Mrs. Iceton' – originates from Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia and the western Pacific Islands. It's an exotic plant extremely popular in subtropical and tropical regions.

Characteristics
Characteristic for the 'Mrs. Iceton' are the variegated, colourful leaves that can appear in different shades of yellow, pink, red and green. The leaves are glossy and have a leathery texture. The plant can grow to a height of about 105-135 centimetres. This Croton is particularly loved for its striking and wavy leaf pattern.

Care
The Codiaeum variegatum 'Mrs. Iceton' prefers a warm, light and humid climate. Indoors, the plant grows best at temperatures between 15 and 23 degrees Celsius. It needs plenty of indirect sunlight and regular watering, but doesn't like over-watering. The soil must be well drained. During the winter months, it's important to protect the plant from cold and draught. Biannual feeding with a general houseplant fertiliser is recommended for optimal growth and colour.
