Origin
The Cordyline fruticosa 'Mambo', also known as the ti plant, has its roots in Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. This plant is widely used in the traditional medicine of these areas. It is known for being a graceful addition to interiors due to its exotic origin.

Characteristics
The Cordyline fruticosa 'Mambo' is characterised by its rich purple leaves that give a tropical appearance. The leaves are wide and spear-shaped, with a glossy top and a matte underside. The plant can reach a height of two metres and is therefore ideal as a medium-sized pot plant. When it blooms, the plant produces small fragrant flowers followed by red or blue-black berries.

Care
The Cordyline fruticosa 'Mambo' is relatively easy to care for. The plant prefers well-drained soil and a location where it can receive direct sunlight, although it can also grow in partially shady conditions. It is important to regularly water the plant, but without overdoing it to prevent the roots from drowning. In addition, this plant has a need for high humidity and a constant temperature, ideally between 18 and 27 degrees Celsius.
