Product number : 4EUREKK30
DescriptionSpecifications

Origin
The Euphorbia resinifera is a kind of shrublike succulent originating from Morocco, specifically from the valleys of the Atlas Mountains. Ideal conditions for its growth can be found in these arid regions. Historically, it has been used both medically and religiously due to its unusual properties and the ability to produce resin.

Characteristics
The Euphorbia resinifera is a somewhat smaller plant, usually reaching a height of thirty to ninety centimetres. The plant is characterised by its dark green, quadrangular, fleshy branches that have thorns on the ribs. The small yellow flowers appear in sunny clusters on top of the branches. Inside the branches is a milky sap that contains resinous compounds.

Care
The plant is extremely drought resistant and requires little water to survive, making it a good choice for dry gardens or rock gardens. Ideally, the Euphorbia resinifera is planted in full sun with a well-draining soil. During the winter months, it is advisable to bring the plant indoors when temperatures drop below 10 degrees Celsius. After all, it is not frost resistant. Care should be taken when pruning due to the toxin in the sap.
