Gasteria 'D Tiga' 6/tray
4GADTBP10
Origin
The Haworthia limifolia 6/tray, also known as the Fairies Washboard, originates from the eastern part of South Africa. In the wild, the species mainly grows in the shadow of rocks or among the grass.
Characteristics
The Haworthia limifolia 6/tray features distinctive dark green leaves with white bumps, similar to the ridges in a washboard, from which it gets its nickname. The leaves are wide and thick, enabling the plant to withstand both drought and cold. This species grows in a rosette shape to a maximum height of about 10 cm. When it comes into bloom, it produces small, tubular flowers at the end of long stems.
Care
A Haworthia limifolia 6/tray requires well-draining soil and should be exposed to indirect sunlight. Too much direct sunlight can cause the leaves to burn. Watering should be moderate during the growth period and reduced during the winter months. The plant is resistant to drought but should not be submerged in water for longer periods, as this can lead to root rot.
