Origin
The Rhipsalis heteroclada 6/tray, commonly known as the 'Mistletoe Cactus', originates from the rainforests of Central and South America. This particular species was discovered in the Philippines and, whilst they can now be found all over the world, they thrive best in their natural tropical environment.

Characteristics
A distinguishing feature of the Rhipsalis heteroclada 6/tray is its appearance; it has long, hanging branches with small, round, green leaves. Unlike many other cacti, the Mistletoe Cactus does not have distinct spines. Instead, there are very tiny hairs visible along the branches. In the wild, the plant can grow to a large size, but restrictive conditions like pot size can influence the growth.

Care
The Rhipsalis heteroclada 6/tray has specific care needs in order to survive and grow. Although they naturally come from a moist environment, these plants do not like wet feet. It is thus important to let the soil dry out between watering. They need plenty of light but cannot tolerate direct sunlight.
