Origin
The Scindapsus, also known as Epipremnum or 'Golden Pothos', is a climbing plant native to the rainforests of Southeast Asia. This plant has managed to spread across multiple tropical climate zones around the world, thanks to its resilient nature and adaptability.
Characteristics
Typical are its heart-shaped, dark green leaves, with a glossy surface adorned with golden, sometimes silver, spots. The 'Golden Pothos' can reach considerable lengths, sometimes even up to 10 metres. In ideal conditions, this species produces small, inconspicuous flowers.
Care
Caring for the Scindapsus is not very demanding given its adaptability. It prefers a warm and not too light location. Moist, but not wet soil is ideal, and it is advisable to mist the plant regularly to maintain high humidity. Although the 'Golden Pothos' is fairly robust, this plant will perform and grow best under optimal conditions.
