DescriptionSpecifications

Origin
Crassula argentea, also known as the Jade Plant or Money Tree, is originally a South African plant. It primarily grows in dry, rocky areas where conditions are often harsh. The plant has now spread all over the world, due to its popularity as a house plant.

Characteristics
Crassula argentea is a succulent that can grow into a small tree with a woody trunk. The leaves are thick and shiny, often with a light red edge and of an olive green colour. They are oval in shape and grow in paired patterns along the stem. The plant has small, star-shaped, white or light pink flowers that bloom in the late winter or early spring.

Care
The Crassula argentea requires little maintenance, but does need ample light. It benefits from direct sunlight, well-draining soil, and moderate watering. Overwatering can cause root rot and should be avoided. The plant thrives best at room temperature, and cannot handle frost well.
