The Euonymus jap. 'Bravo', also commonly known as the Japanese Spindle, is an evergreen shrub originating from East Asia. By nature, it is a forest plant predominantly found in Japan, hence its name. With its graceful appearance, this plant has over the years become widespread within the world of garden and landscape architecture in Europe and North America.

Characteristics
The Euonymus jap. 'Bravo' is a dense, upright shrub which can grow up to 2 meters tall. The leaves of this plant are dark green with white edges, giving it a very decorative appearance. Small flowers, usually greenish-white in colour, develop during the summer months. In autumn, these flowers can blossom into pink to reddish pseudo-fruits.

Care
For the care of the Euonymus jap. 'Bravo', a location in partial shade or full sun is ideal. The plant prefers well-drained soil and tolerates drought quite well. Nevertheless, it is advisable to provide extra watering during dry periods. Regular pruning helps the plant stay compact and healthy. It is best to do this in early spring, just before the new growth starts.
