Origin
The Yucca carnerosana, also known as the Giant Spanish Dagger or Giant Yucca, is naturally found in the desert areas of Northeast Mexico and Texas in the United States. It is a plant species belonging to the Asparagaceae family. Its natural habitat consists of rocky areas on limestone and sandstone.

Characteristics
The Yucca carnerosana is a tree-like plant, which can grow to a height of about 5 to 10 meters. The plant has long, spiky leaves and produces large, flower-like white inflorescences. The leaves are rigid, elongated and have a sharp point. The flowers of the Yucca carnerosana are cream-white in colour and have a hanging bell shape.

Care
Yucca carnerosana prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It is a drought-resistant plant and can survive well in dry, sandy or rocky soils. Although the plant can tolerate high temperatures and dry conditions, it is also resistant to light frost. Regular watering during the growing season and reduction during the dormant period is recommended. This plant requires little maintenance, but the removal of dead leaves can contribute to healthy and attractive growth.
