Origin
The Sedum tray is a popular garden plant that originally comes from the Northern hemisphere. Known under multiple names, this succulent family is spread over many continents. Certain species are also native to South America, Africa and even Antarctica.

Characteristics
The Sedum tray is characterised by its versatility and adaptability. This succulent is known for its fleshy leaves, which can store water for use during dry periods. Usually, the Sedum tray grows low to the ground forming dense mats of green, grey or even red-blue leaves. In the late summer or early autumn, they often bloom with small, star-shaped flowers in various colours, depending on the species.

Care
The Sedum tray is a low-maintenance plant, ideal for gardening beginners or people with a busy schedule. It prefers full sun and well-draining soil. Generally, moderate watering is recommended as overwatering can lead to root rot. During the winter months, the Sedum tray requires little to no water. This resilient plant is resistant to diseases and pests and doesn't require regular fertilisation.
