Origin
The Guzmania Suerte Orange originates from Central and South America, specifically the tropical rainforests. In this humid and warm environment, the plant is capable of optimal growth. The genus Guzmania, to which the plant belongs, is named after the Spanish naturalist Anastasio Guzman.

Characteristics
The Guzmania Suerte Orange is known for its striking colour and unique shape. It has long, deep green leaves which are coated with a sort of white wax layer. A tall, bright orange flower grows in the middle of these leaves, giving the plant its distinctive appearance. The plant can reach a height of about 40 cm and is characterised by its compact growth.

Care
In terms of care, the Guzmania Suerte Orange requires specific attention. The plant must always be in a warm environment, preferably above 18 degrees Celsius. It is important that the soil remains continuously lightly moist, but the plant does not tolerate water in the pot. In addition, the Guzmania Suerte Orange is a lover of high humidity, so recreating a rainforest climate is optimal. The plant needs a lot of light, but direct sunlight should be avoided to prevent burning of the sensitive leaves.
