Origin
The Hoya wayetii Tricolor, also known as the Waxplant, originates from Southeast Asia, primarily in countries such as the Philippines and Indonesia. Here, the plant grows at altitudes of 300 to 2000 meters in woodland areas. The name 'wayetii' is in fact a tribute to Anthony Wayet, a plant collector who discovered various Hoya species in the Philippines.

Characteristics
The Hoya wayetii Tricolor is an evergreen climber widely recognised for its vibrantly coloured, variegated leaves. The leaves, thick and waxy, exhibit an elongated structure and can vary in colour from deep green to reddish shades with creamy edges. Under the right conditions, floral clusters can form, comprising numerous small, star-shaped flowers that exude a mild, pleasing scent.
